Ezekiel 19:10-12

¹⁰ ‘Your mother was ^(A)like a vine in your ^[a]vineyard,
Planted by the waters;
It was fruitful and full of branches
Because of abundant waters.
¹¹ ‘And it had ^[b](B)strong branches fit for scepters of rulers,
And its ^(C)height was raised above the clouds
So that it was seen in its height with the mass of its branches.
¹² ‘But it was ^(D)plucked up in fury;
It was ^(E)cast down to the ground;
And the ^(F)east wind dried up its fruit.
Its ^[c](G)strong branch ^[d]was torn off
So that ^[e]it withered;
The fire consumed it.
